Growing Healthy Kids!
Being a father of two amazing kids I understand the stresses of being a parent.  We are dealing with so many different things.  Our schedules are insane aren’t they?  We are trying to manage so many different things that it is completely overwhelming at times and it doesn’t seem to end.  Frustrating right?
Our kids are witness to how we are dealing with these stresses of life.  This concerns me because when people are stressed it usually means their life habits suffer.  If your life habits are suffering then your kids are being modeled an unhealthy way of living.  I know you want your kids to be just as healthy as I do.  The best way we can do that is to model healthy habits.  They are constantly watching and modelling what we do.
When I think about my kids watching me and learning what it is I do, it becomes more powerful for me to pay closer attention to what it is I am doing.  My life habits are critical to their life/health success.  One of the best gifts we can give our kids is modelling healthy habits.
I know, this sounds good and all, it sounds easy when you read about it but really it is hard right?  It is hard to find time to exercise, it is hard to find time to get out and play, life is hard.  I get it.  I am encouraging you to not buy into that belief.
Let’s come up with a new mantra, a new affirmation.  How about this, “Life is Fun and Easy!”  Make that your new belief, life is meant to be fun and easy.  We are here to enjoy life, not struggle through it.
So let me help you; in my video blog today I will give you 10 things you can do to begin building healthier habits for you and your children.  These are not hard, they are fun and easy!  Remember life is fun and easy!
