Our Services
Prenatal Care
Your body changes every single week during pregnancy, and the pelvis and lower back are usually the first to feel it. The sacroiliac area, where the spine meets the pelvis, comes up constantly when patients describe their discomfort to Dr. Jerry Weider . There is an unexpected upside to some notice, too: morning sickness easing up after an adjustment. We don’t use X-rays on pregnant patients at all. Dr. Weider performs a posture examination and manual tests. The treatment table can be adjusted depending on your needs, so you stay comfortable through each trimester.
Pediatric Chiropractic Care
Kids fall, tumble, and bump into things constantly as they grow, and even the birth process itself can leave a newborn’s spine slightly out of alignment. Most of the time, none of this shows up as obvious pain, since children rarely describe discomfort the way adults do. Instead, you might notice trouble sleeping, digestive issues, frequent ear infections, or a child favoring one side when they move. Dr. Jerry Weider ‘s exams for children stay gentle and mostly visual, checking range of motion and looking for anything uneven from one side to the other. Adjustments for kids use very light pressure, nowhere near what an adult treatment involves. Addressing small misalignments early, while a child is still growing, often prevents bigger issues from developing later in life.
Massage Therapy
Tight, overworked muscles often pull joints out of their proper position, which is part of why massage therapy pairs so well with chiropractic adjustments. Working through tension in the muscles surrounding the spine and joints helps adjustments hold better and last longer. Patients dealing with sciatica, neck pain, or muscle strain from an injury often benefit from massage as part of their treatment plan, not as a separate add-on. Our clinic uses massage therapy to increase circulation, reduce inflammation, and loosen up areas that adjustments alone might not fully reach. It also plays a role in prenatal care, helping expecting mothers feel more comfortable as their bodies change week to week. The combination of massage and adjustments tends to produce results faster than either approach on its own.
Work Injury
Work injuries can happen suddenly, like a fall or a strain from lifting something heavy, or build up slowly from repetitive movements day after day. Either way, it is important to get checked early, since untreated injuries tend to get worse rather than better on their own. When you come in, we will go through a full history of how the injury happened, along with an exam to see exactly what is affected. Depending on what we find, treatment may include adjustments, therapies to reduce pain and inflammation, and exercises to help you recover safely. We also work directly with your employer’s insurance to make the process as smooth as possible while you focus on healing.
Wellness Care
Wellness care is about keeping the spine and nervous system functioning well before problems start, rather than only treating pain once it shows up. Regular checkups let Dr. Jerry Weider catch small misalignments early, well before they turn into bigger issues down the road. This kind of ongoing care fits well for people who exercise often, sit at a desk all day, or simply want to stay ahead of the wear and tear that builds up over the years. Visits typically include posture checks, movement assessments, and adjustments as needed to keep the spine moving properly. Many patients who start out being treated for a specific injury choose to continue with wellness visits afterward, just to maintain the progress they made. Staying consistent with this kind of care tends to mean fewer flare-ups and better mobility over the long run.
Whiplash / Auto Accident Injuries
In a car accident, your vehicle and body stop suddenly, but your head and brain keep moving for a moment longer than your muscles can control. This can strain the ligaments in your neck and sometimes cause a concussion, even if you feel fine right after the crash. The tricky part is that damage from whiplash does not always show up immediately. It can take years to surface as ongoing pain or faster wear in the spine. When you come in, the clinic goes through a full history of the accident along with orthopedic testing, and orders an MRI if the case calls for it. Dr. Jerry Weider also works directly with attorneys and insurance to make the process easier for you.
Acupuncture
Acupuncture is a treatment that involves placing very thin needles into specific points on the body. It is used to help relieve pain, reduce stress, improve circulation, and support the body’s natural healing process. Many people choose acupuncture for conditions such as back pain, neck pain, headaches, joint pain, and muscle tension. The needles are very fine, and most people feel little to no discomfort during treatment. Depending on your condition, acupuncture may be used on its own or alongside other treatments as part of your care plan.
