Office Policies and Practice Member Guide

Office Flow

At Divine Spine, we have an open adjusting area and do not assign practice members to particular tables. The doctor takes care of practice members in the order that they finish with their exercises and return the place-holder rocks to the front desk. If you ever feel unsure of whether or not it is your turn or what you need to do next, please don’t hesitate to ask at the Front Desk. We will happily guide you to where you need to be.

Cell Phones

Out of consideration for your fellow practice members and each individual’s healing process, please silence your cell phones and take your phone calls outside. Divine Spine is meant to be a safe and relaxing place where practice members heal and grow. Your assistance in creating that nurturing environment is much appreciated.

Scheduling

It is our policy to schedule a practice member’s adjustments in advance according to their care plan from the Report of Findings to their first Re-Exam, and subsequently from Re-Exam to Re-Exam. Having your appointments on the schedule in advance promotes consistent care which is the cornerstone of achieving your health and wellness goals. It is our experience that the body heals in rhythms and needs the consistency of regular adjustments in order to make progress towards and/or optimize the desired results.

Similarly to working out at the gym, chiropractic adjustments re-train the structure and movement of your body. This process takes time and practice. Scheduling adjustments ahead of time does not lock you into payment, nor do we charge cancellation fees for missed or canceled adjustment appointments. We will do everything in our power to support you in your care plan. If you need to reschedule an appointment, feel free to call or email the front desk at 206-783-6000 or info@divinespine.net.

Above all, our main goal is to expedite your return to optimum health and wellness in the best and safest way possible. We ask that you partner with us to ensure clear communication regarding your schedule. Ultimately, it is your responsibility to make up any missed appointments within that week or the week after. Missed appointments can be made up by coming in an extra day during the week or the week after.

Automatic Monthly Payments

When you sign up for Automatic Monthly Payments for the duration of your care plan it allows for more of the focus to be spent on you and your care, rather than remembering and collecting payments at the time of service.  Please see the front desk for an AutoPay Form if you do not already have one.

Overdue Balances

Effective July 1, 2013, Divine Spine will begin charging $3 or 1% interest on overdue unpaid balances, whichever is greater, each month.

Late Arrivals

We ask that if you are running more than 15 minutes late for your scheduled appointment that you take a moment to call the office and let us know. We will be happy to help resolve any scheduling issues that arise and do have some flexibility during adjustment shifts. However, in some instances, out of respect for other practice member’s scheduled after you, you may need to re-schedule.

Automatic Appointment Reminders

Divine Spine offers automatic email or text message appointment reminders. This service can be requested at the Front Desk. If your account is set up to generate automatic email reminders to be sent to your email of choice or text messages to be sent to your mobile number, please know that this is a complimentary service and shouldn’t be your only method of tracking appointments. Keep this in mind when scheduling Massages especially, as we do have a 24 hour Cancellation/ No Show policy with a $45 fee associated. Ultimately, it is your responsibility to be aware of your scheduled appointments and make arrangements if you need to change them.
